Viola "Vi" K. Gill-Belden, 78, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Andbe Home, Norton, KS.
She was born March 9, 1942 in Edmond, KS, the daughter of Vernon G.F. and Alberta F. (Bauguess) Gill.
Vi was a past member of #3288 Women's Auxiliary, Harmonson Redd Unit #63 The American Legion Auxiliary and Red Hat Society all of Norton, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bonnell and Calvin Gill and a sister Nellie Shearer.
Vi is survived by her husband Wayne Belden of Norton; two sons, Steven Meier and wife Brenda of Topeka, Curtis Meier of Norton; step-son, Kelly Belden; step-daughter, Carla Belden; sister-in-law Anise Gill of Norton; brother-in-law Dean Shearer of Norton, seven grandchildren, Justin, Cody, Samantha, Axle, Emily, Jessica and Jamie, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Vi's life will be held at a later date. There will not be a public visitation as cremation was chosen. Memorials may be given to Viola K. Belden Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS 66967.
