PHILLIPSBURG— Phillipsburg resident, Angie Butterfield passed away March 16, 2020 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 91. She was born Oct. 18, 1928 in Harlan County, Neb., the daughter of Oscar & Pauline (Park) Poyser.

Survivors include her sons; Terry of Colorado Springs and Kent of Phillipsburg; her daughter, Pam Leidig of Hesston; brother, Kenneth Poyser of Manhattan; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Due to CDC guidelines and the Kansas ban on over 50 people at a gathering, private family funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20 in  the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Services will be streamed live on the funeral home Facebook page.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Kearney or the Phillips County Christian Foundation.
