Area businesses are offering food assistance in the light of school cancellations.

The Cardinal Drive In in Plainville posted on its Facebook page it would offer school-age children free lunch from 11 a.m. to noon March 16-20.

Geona Pharmacy, which is inside High Plains Mental Health in Hays, is offering free sack breakfasts and lunches while supplies last because of school cancellations.

The pharmacy is at 208 E. Seventh St., which is across from the Hadley Center. See the Facebook post below.
