PITTSBURG- Mind Sculpt Games, LLC was recognized as the Kansas SBDC at Fort Hays State University Emerging Business of the Year at the annual Kansas Small Business Awards on March 5th in Topeka.
Owner Darcy Leech established Mind Sculpt Games to give the residents of Great Bend, Kansas, a place to gather in a safe, educational, and fun space to play games.
Mind Sculpt Games is a family-owned business aiming to bring face to face gaming to your kitchen table. They believe games build brains, relationships, and communities.
When Leech first contacted the Kansas SBDC at Fort Hays State University, she needed help developing three-year financial projections and building upon her business plan. Rick Feltenberger, Kansas SBDC Regional Director at FHSU, also helped Leech to narrow down the target demographics for the game store in order to meet the needs and interests of the community.
Located at 4908 10th Street in Great Bend, Kansas, Mind Sculpt Games carries over 200 different board games, as well as collectible card games like Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and Cardfight! Vanguard. To learn more about Mind Sculpt Games, visit their website at www.mindsculptgames.com
