A Hays man was injured early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 35.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that at 2000 Acura driven by 28-year-old Trenton Berens, Hays, was southbound on I-35 in Lyon County when it lost control "due to driving at a high rate of speed." The accident occurred just after 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
Berens was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a suspected minor injury. He was wearing a seat belt t the time of the accident, the KHP reported.
