Werner Duane Burch, age 46, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas.

Werner was born February 8, 1974, in Tribune, Kansas, the son of Lester Lew & Lyla Kay ( Rowton ) Burch Sr. A 1992 graduate of Hartshorne High School in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, he moved to the Leoti area in 1994. He was a farmer.

Werner was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas. He once served as Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus and formerly served on the Wichita County Farm Bureau Board of Directors

On May 18, 1996, he married Adrienne Fay McRae in Leoti, Kansas.

Werner’s surviving family includes-

His Wife- Adrienne Burch of Leoti, Kansas, Three Children including Brooklyn Burch of Leoti, Kansas, Skyler & Amanda Burch of Marienthal, Kansas and Brannon Burch of Leoti, Kansas. Two Grandchildren- Korbin Casey & Kaydence Burch of Marienthal, Kansas; His Parents- Lester & Lyla Burch of Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Five brothers including Alan & Rainia Burch, Lester Burch, Jr., Kevin & Jennifer Burch of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, David Burch and Clay Cody of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lyle & Pam Burch of Wetumka, Oklahoma, and a sister- Mona & Thomas Goodson of Seminole, Oklahoma. Adrienne’s parents- Jim & Liz McRae of Bandera, Texas and a

Brother-in-law - Darren & Connie McRae, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

His Grandparents, Arthur Lee & Bessie Burch and George & Mary Rowton and a sister, Victoria Irene Burch precede him in death.

Vigil services will be held at 7:00 pm Friday evening at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas with Father Tim Hickey officiating and the Knights of Columbus assisting.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Leoti, Kansas with Father Tim Hickey officiating.

Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.

Friends may call from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday and from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Werner D. Burch Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
