Both the TMP-Marian boys and girls basketball teams will host first round sub-state games next week.
The TMP boys earned the number three seed in the 3A boys Beloit sub-state next week with a record of 15-4. TMP will host the six-seed Phillipsburg on Monday at 7 p.m. Phillipsburg is 12-9 on the year.
The winner of that game will take on the winner of the number two seed Hoisington and the seven-seed Concordia.
On the other side of the bracket, the host Beloit is the top seed. They will host Russell on Monday. The winner of that matchup gets the winner of the four versus five match up of Minneapolis and Norton.
The TMP girls earned the four-seed in the Beloit sub-state and will host the number five-seed Russell Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The winner of the game will take on the winner of the top seed Phillipsburg and the eight-seed Concordia.
On the other side of the bracket, the host Beloit is the two-seed and will take on number seven Minneapolis.
The winner of the game gets either the number three seed Norton or the six-seed Hoisington.
