Fort Hays State Men's Basketball plays its final home game of the 2019-20 season on Saturday (Feb. 22) hosting Northeastern State. Seniors Aaron NicholsonDevin DavisCalvin Harrington, and Jake Hutchings will be playing in their final contest at Gross Memorial Coliseum. The Tigers enter at 12-13 overall, 5-11 in the MIAA, while the RiverHawks are 17-9 overall, 10-7 in the MIAA. Tipoff is at 4 pm, which follows the women's contest at 2 pm.

Fort Hays State is coming off a tough loss to Rogers State on Thursday night at Gross Memorial Coliseum. The No. 23 Hillcats escaped Hays with a six-point win. FHSU is in a tie for ninth in the MIAA standings entering Saturday with Pittsburg State and Central Oklahoma. Every one of the three games remaining on Fort Hays State's schedule is big in the quest to finish in the top 10 of the MIAA standings and claim a spot in the MIAA Tournament.

Northeastern State is coming off a 75-64 win at Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday night. The RiverHawks have won two consecutive games entering Saturday. NSU currently sits in sixth in the MIAA standings, already with a spot clinched in the MIAA Tournament.

The RiverHawks won the first meeting against the Tigers this season in Tahlequah by a score of 76-70. Jared Vitztum led the Tigers in that contest with 18 points, while Aaron Nicholson had 15, Jake Hutchings had 14, and Devin Davis added 10. Kendrick Thompson led the RiverHawks with 29 points, hitting seven 3-point field goals. Caleb Smith added 20 points with four 3-point field goals.
