Jeffrey Keith Martin, age 65, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away January 13, 2020 following a long battle with COPD.
He was born November 8, 1954 in Franklin, Nebraska to Eldon and Beverly Martin. He resided in Smith Center, Kansas until graduating high school and joining the Navy in 1973. After serving in the military, Jeff moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in the 80’s and began his career in the plumbing industry, retiring from Ferguson Enterprise.
Jeff was an avid golfer and bowler.
He was preceded in death by his son Adam Martin and mother Beverly Martin.
He was loved by his grandkids, Shawntel, Austin, Zayne, Maria, Emma, Ravyn, Savannah, Cash, Lou, and Logan.
Missed by his one true soulmate, his dog Meesha.
Jeff is survived by his wife Lydia Martin of Grand Junction, CO; two daughters, Amber (Danny) Morales of Arizona and Holly Martin of Grand Junction, CO; two sons, Brennen Kile, and Casey (Gail) Armendariz and adopted daughter Amber Burrows; his father, Eldon "Stub" Martin of Smith Center; two brothers, Rick (Tish) Martin of Derby, KS, Mitch Martin of Smith Center; a sister, Linda (Doug Guidry) Carswell of Smith Center and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center, KS, with Pastor Lance McDowell officiating. Memorials may be given to Grand Junction VA Medical Center to be used for recreational therapy.
