SMITH CENTER-   W.G. “Bill” Hawes, The Great White Hunter, age 88, 
passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the SunPorch of Smith 
Center, KS.  He was born October 9, 1931 in Wakefield, KS to Elmer and 
Evelyn (Gaston) Hawes.  He was a pharmacist.


Bill is survived by his wife Carolyn of Smith Center;   sons, Drew 
(Emily) of Kansas City and Kirk (Mary) of Atlanta, GA; sister Dea Adent;
 step-son Kelly Smith of Kensington, KS;   step daughter Crystal Roberts
 of Ashland, KS; sisters in law Connie Kelley and Linda Carnes   and 1 
granddaughter Dylan Solida.
