LaVerne Buchholz, 91, died February 12, 2020 at Bethesda Home in Goessel. He was born September 19, 1928 in WaKeeney, Kansas, to Fred and Julia (Hervey) Buchholz.
He married Jane Surprise June 1, 1947, in WaKeeney.
Survivors include: wife, Jane Buchholz of Goessel; son, DeVerne (Sue) Buchholz of Rural Hillsboro; daughter, Jan (Leonard) Frantz of Rural Hillsboro; brother, Duane Buchholz; 7 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2020 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro Officiated by Pastor Tom Byford. Interment 10:00 a.m. Monday at Haven of Rest cemetery rural Hillsboro. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
