ELLIS COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Wednesday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Cindy Sue Conlon, 63, Newton, was westbound on Interstate 70 near Walker Avenue.
The Ford came around the curve, left the roadway, struck a cross over, went airborne and rolled once into the median.
Conlon and a passenger Caitlin Suzanne Conlon, 25, Newton, were transported to Hays Medical Center. They were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
