Lindsborg, Kansas is holding their annual Våffeldagen celebration on Saturday, March 21. (Yes! That means “Waffle Day”)
To add yet another aspect to the playful and creative spirit of the event, they are inviting people to create - and let them exhibit - a piece of art inspired by the humble breakfast waffle as part of their annual waffle day celebration. Any medium, any size (and any age!). . . pencil sketches, cartoons, digital creations, oils or watercolor, mixed media, metal fabrications, fiber — you name it. (delivered March 1-15)
