LOGAN COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Thursday in Logan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Chrysler Sebring driven by Betsy L. Johnson, 80, Oakley, was northbound on U.S. 83 at the U.S. 40 Junction.
The Chrysler rear-ended 2007 Chevy Suburban driven by Cheyanne Rose Stevenson, 27, Grinnell, that was stopped at the stop sign waiting for wind turbines to make the corner.
EMS transported Johnson to the Logan County Hospital. Stevenson was not injured. Johnson was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
