Brian T. Unrein, 62, McKinney, Texas, died Monday, January 20, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born August 24, 1957, in Hays to Clement and Viola (Enslinger) Unrein.&nbsp; He was a 1975 graduate of Thomas More Prep.&nbsp; He joined the Marines in May of 1975. He remained in the Marines until discharge in 1978. He worked for InterTel as an engineer in California and Texas.&nbsp;

He married Diana Davis on March 29, 1986, at San Diego, California. &nbsp;

He is survived by his wife, of the home, two sons, Matthew Unrein and wife Brittany of Lewisville, TX and Jason Unrein of the home; his parents, of Hays, KS; two brothers, Bruce Unrein and wife Christine of Sierra Vista, AZ and Brad Unrein and wife Lisa of Hays, KS; two sisters, Brenda Nordling of Omaha, NE and Bonnie Gasaway and husband Rick of Overland Park, KS; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Austin.

His body was cremated.&nbsp; A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
