RUSSELL - The next exhibition at the Deines Cultural Center is Atomic Kansas: Paintings by Elizabeth Daniel from Tonganoxie, KS.

Her lifelong fascination with the “Atomic Era” and the design elements of the 1950s and 60s lead artist, Elizabeth Daniel to toying with the idea of mixing nature and nostalgia. She creates mid-century inspired work that boasts bright colors and almost appears to serve as vibrant, kitschy advertisements for Kansas scenery. &nbsp;Daniel’s show Atomic Kansas will be exhibited January 24 through February 21, 2020.

The opening reception is January 24 from 5-7 p.m.

The Deines Cultural Center is located in Russell at 820 North Main Street. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
