TREGO COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Friday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Kenworth semi driven by Sterling, Bruce Sterling, 58, Colorado Springs, was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Ogallah exit when it struck road debris and jackknifed.
The semi traveled towards the median and came to rest partially in the median and partially in the roadway.
EMS transported Sterling to the hospital in WaKeeney. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
