The meanest substitute teacher in the whole world returns to Horace B. Smedley School as coach of the "Smedley Tornadoes" football team! Kind-hearted Miss Nelson comes to the rescue of the rambunctious, failing team as she enlists the help of her alter ego, the ill-tempered Miss Viola Swamp. She whips them into shape with her trademark discipline, demanding tough exercises and no back talk. The team soon changes their attitude, pulls together, and sharpens their skills. But can they win the biggest game of the year?!

Find out in this delightful musical based on the “Miss Nelson” books.

Ready. Set. Hut!This production funded through grant support from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission and Midwest Energy –and HAC arts-in-education program support from the Schmidt Foundation, Heartland Community Foundation and Union Pacific Foundation.

Smedley Tornadoes!
