The Ellis County Public Works Road & Bridge division has announced two timber bridge replacements will take place in the 400 block of Buckeye Road.
This is located between 130th Avenue and 140th Avenue, north of Ellis. The one-mile stretch will be closed to through traffic beginning at 9 a.m. Monday and will remain closed until the project is completed.
The expected completion date will be Jan. 31, pending weather conditions.
Motorists traveling in the affected closure area should use alternate routes of travel until the project is complete. Drect any questions to the Ellis County Public Works Road & Bridge division at (785)-628-9455.
