John J. Kaiser, 85, of Downs, KS passed away on Monday, December 16, 
2019 at the Downs Care &amp; Rehabilitation Center in Downs, KS. &nbsp;He was
 born in Gove County, KS on June 9, 1934 to the late Anna (Zerr) and 
Carl Kaiser. &nbsp;John was one of several children.

John went as far 8th grade leaving school to help his family 
farming.&nbsp; John married Carlyn Johnson and to this union, several 
children were born. &nbsp;He was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church of
 Grainfield, KS.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Carlyn in 2005 and one son, Richard.

John is survived by a daughter:&nbsp;Janet (Tim) Parker of Downs, KS; son:
 Carl (Bonnie) Kaiser of Quinter, KS; 2 sisters: Agnes (Phil) Ziegler of
 Hutchinson, KS; Tina Lieker of Oakley, KS; brother: Leo (Helen) Kaiser 
of Hutchinson, KS; 5 grandchildren &amp; 12 great-grandchildren.
