Phillipsburg resident Lydia Kendall passed away Dec. 31, 2019 at the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg at the age of 79.&nbsp; She was born Nov. 13, 1940 in LaCrosse, KS, the daughter of Nick &amp; Mary (Urban) Herman.&nbsp;

Survivors include her sons: Bob of Phillipsburg &amp; Ed of Sidney, NE; 2 daughters, Marlana Shellito of Rawlins, WY &amp; Jacqui Merklein of Amarillo, TX; 9 grandchildren &amp; 11 great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Jan. 6 at 10:30 a.m. in the SS Philip &amp; James Catholic Church with Fr. Daryl Olmstead &amp; Fr. George Chalbhagam officiating.&nbsp; &nbsp;

A Virgil &amp; Rosary service will be held Sun. Jan. 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the SS Philip &amp; James Catholic Church.&nbsp;

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Services.&nbsp;
