Dan O'Brien to discuss grain market strategies and opportunities in Hays

Grain marketing is no easy task, the more information one has can be useful in making those difficult marketing decisions.

Farmers and landlords make plans to join us at the "Grain Market Outlook and Strategies for 2020" program on Tuesday, January 7 in Hays and Great Bend.

In Hays, it will be held at the Agricultural Research Center, 1232 240 Ave. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m. the program is scheduled from 12:15 to 2:45 p.m.

A complimentary noon meal is provided.

In Great Bend it will be held at American Ag Credit, 5634 10 Street. Registration begins at 5.30 p.m. and the program is scheduled for from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

A complimentary supper is provided.

K-State Extension grain market economist Dan O'Brien will discuss Current Market Overview & Price Prospects of Corn, Sorghum, Wheat & Soybeans; and 2020 Marketing Strategies & Opportunities-from USDA January 10" & Forward. Then there will be a panel discussion by local elevator cooperatives on Basis Trends & Local Market Factors
