Ardyce M. Thornburg died Sunday December 15, 2019 at her home in Arkansas City, Ks. She was born December 17, 1927 in Osborne County to Roy T. and Tressa (Coop) Wilson. Ardyce attended school in Osborne Co. graduating from Osborne High School.
On June 8, 1947 she married Raymond J. Thornburg in Osborne, Ks. They had one son, Ron. Ardyce was a homemaker and moved with Raymond as his job with Hardman Lumber located him in several towns such as Grand Island, Neb.; Loveland, Colo. and back to Osborne, Ks. She and Raymond retired and moved to Arkansas City to be close to Ron and have been there the last two years.
Ardyce was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother and her husband Raymond on Nov. 3, 2019. She is survived by her son Ron and wife Laura of Winfield, Ks.; one sister, Mary Metzger of Menifee, California; 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
