RUSSELL – Encore Antiques & Collectables is hoping to increase awareness and gather donations to help "fill the pantry" at a safe shelter operated by Options Domestic & Sexual Violence Services.
Everyone is encouraged to take an ornament or two (or more) from the Star for Healing tree, purchase the item and bring it back to Encore. When the collection box is full, Encore will deliver the items to Options staff.
When survivors and their families arrive at a shelter, they may need access to food, clothing, hygiene and personal care items. Encore is accepting donations for a wide variety of items - toothpaste, comfy clothes, reusable water bottles, notepads and pencils, facial tissues, feminine hygiene products, sports bras, body wash, hair accessories and more.
