Donald Edward 'Don' Miller

Donald Edward “Don” Miller passed away on December 14, 2019 at Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS, at the age of 58. He was born on July 22, 1961 to Kenneth C. Miller, Sr. and Vivian (Crespin) Miller in Corona, CA. Don attended grade school in San Diego, CA before moving to Stockton in 1972.

Don loved the country and driving down the creek with his best friend, Lynn “Bear” Miller and a cooler. He loved country music, and old westerns. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, canning, cooking, and shooting guns. He had a great recipe for hot pickles and salsa from his garden. He took pride in his house and was always working to keep it nice. Most of all, Don loved to spend time with his family and grandkids who knew him as “Bubba”.

Don is survived by his father Kenneth C. Miller, Sr.; daughters Jesica Kerr and husband Daniel of Stockton and Erin Miller of Stockton; son Gabriel Miller and wife Jessica of Dix, NE; brother Kenneth C. Miller, Jr. and wife Linda of Oceanside, CA; sister Addie Foster and husband Ed of Stockton; 7 grandchildren, Taigen Kerr, Aidyen Kerr, Josephine Miller, Evan Miller, Emerson Lowry, Camille Lowry, and Harper Lowry; and 6 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Miller.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Main Street Christian Church in Stockton. Burial will follow at the Bow Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm with the family receiving friends and family 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
