Diana Dale Sabatka, 76, of Atwood, died Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Citizens Medical Center, in Colby, KS, after a long fight with dementia. Diana, known as Dani, was a Kansas native. She was born August 18, 1943, in Colby, grew up in Brewster and graduated from Brewster High School. Dani was the daughter of Dale and Vivian Kauffman and has two surviving siblings, Debi Page and Byron Kauffman.
Dani met her husband and the love of her life, Craig Sabatka, in McDonald, KS. Craig and Dani married and lived their lives on a small farm northwest of Atwood, KS.
Dani leaves behind her husband Craig; three children, Clarissa Pina, Tiffany Palmer and Bradley Sack; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by friends and family.
Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Beardsley, KS, with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place in the church cemetery.
