
BARTON COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug charges and asking the public to help locate a second suspect in the case.
Just after 3:30p.m. Wednesday, deputies executed a search warrant at 7 NE 30th Road just north of Great Bend, according to Sheriff Brian Bellendir. Deputies were looking for controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
They entered the home without incident and located two adults along with meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and packaging materials, according to Bellendir. They also arrested Kortnie Nowak, 26, Russell, on requested charges that include possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She is being held on a $10,000 bond. She was also wanted for two outstanding warrants in Russell County.

The sheriff office is also asking the public for help locating a second suspect in connection with the case. Dustin Sullivan, 46, Great Bend, is described as a white male, 5-foot-9, 185 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone with nformation on Sullivan is asked to call 911.
