Richard Glen Koehn

SCOTT CITY—Richard Glen Koehn, 73, passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019 at his home in Scott County.

He was born on April 22, 1946, in Montezuma, the son of Mano and Mable Dirks Koehn. A lifetime resident of western Kansas, he was a minister and retired farmer.

He was a member of the Scott Mennonite Church in Pence.

On May 6, 1951, he married Carol Isaac in Montezuma.  She survives.

Survivors include his wife Carol Koehn of Scott City; one son Marc Koehn of Sarah, Miss.; one daughter Julie and Terrell Dirks of Scott City; one daughter-in-law Stephanie Koehn of Macon, Miss.; step-mother  Elizabeth Koehn of Montezuma; one brother Arden and Viola Koehn of Montezuma;  three sisters Karen and Archie Holdeman of Farwell, Texas, Verna and Lawrence Koehn of Montezuma; Marcia Buller of Scio, Ore.; one sister-in-law Verna Mae Koehn of Scott City; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, two brothers and two brother-in-laws.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 at the Scott Mennonite Church in Pence with Robert Koehn, Franklin Koehn, Charles Nightengale and Daniel Koehn presiding.

Memorials may be made to the Dodge City Mission in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.

Internment will be in the Scott Mennonite Church Cemetery in Pence.
