The FHSU Student Veterans Association is making more donations to the Hays Recreation Commission Sports locker. The group recently dropped off another load of sporting equipment that included soccer cleats, basketballs, baseball and softball pants, as wells other sporting equipment.
This equipment was donated by various people within the community and collected by the SVA. The Student Veterans Association also made a monetary donation of $200 to help with youth sports scholarships. This program was started to help those children and families who may need help getting children into youth rec sports. If you have new or gently used sporting equipment and would like to donate to this cause you can drop off items at the Hays Recreation Commission at 1105 Canterbury Drive.
