ABILENE – The TMP-Marian Monarchs volleyball team went 0-3
at the Abilene quadrangular Thursday.

The Monarchs lost in three sets to the host Cowgirls (25-23,
14-25, 20-25) and two sets against Smokey Valley (21-25, 22-25) and Rock Creek
(10-25, 27-29)

Monarch head coach Megan Gottschalk said, “What our scores
don’t show is how much fight the girls had tonight!”

TMP is 3-7 to open the season. They will travel to
Plainville on Tuesday as they open Mid-Continent League play.
