ELLIS COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just before 8:30a.m. Friday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Malibu driven by John L. Veh, 82, Hill City, was eastbound on Interstate 70 at Yocemento passing an unidentified semi and trailer.
The semi’s trailer bumped into the Chevy causing it to hit the guardrail and come to rest in the median.
EMS transported Veh and a passenger Sandra S. Veh, 77, Hill City, to Hays Medical Center. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
