Snow over night continues in Hays Friday morning. It's the first measurable moisture this month.
After a high temperature of 40 degrees Thursday, the storm front came in and the overnight low dipped to 26 degrees.
One year ago on Nov. 21, the daytime high was a balmy 65 degrees.
Snowfall measured 3.5 inches at 9 a.m. at the K-State Agricultural Research Center south of town, yielding 0.15 inches of moisture.
So far this year, Hays has received 28.53 inches of moisture. The 151-year average is 21.26 inches by the end of November.
The snow won't stick around for long. The weekend weather forecast calls for much warmer temperatures and sunshine.
