HHS Chess Club
Hays Post
The Hays High Chess Club took first place at the Wichita Chess Tournament.
This was a very large tournament and the biggest meet that the team has ever attended.
Sheena Zeng placed first overall, Noah Bruggerman placed ninth, and Japeth Briney placed 10th.
The Chess Club is coached by Erin Holder. Other Team Members of our winning HHS Chess Club are Raiden Hartman, Sydney Walker and Jonathan Garner.
