Wilma Hoover, 92, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society – Hays, Kansas.

She was born on August 3, 1928 at 
Woodston, KS the daughter of George &amp; Eula (McCombs) Guthrie.&nbsp; She 
married Bruce Hoover on May 27, 1949 in Phillipsburg, KS.

She was a longtime employee of J.C. Penney in Norton and Hays, KS for over 30 years.

Survivors include 2 sons, Greg Hoover and wife, Deirdre, of Hays and Randy Hoover and wife, Dora, of Great Bend.

Wilma is also survived by her sister, Karen Walters and husband, Pat, of Tulsa, OK.

2 grandchildren, Amy Turner and 
husband, Marshall of McPherson, Brian Hoover and wife Amy of Platte 
City, MO, and 7 great grandchildren, Emma, Ella and Brody Hoover, and 
Andrea, Garrett and Carter Turner and Hannah Riggs Hoover.

She was preceded in death by her 
parents, her husband, Bruce, 3 sisters, Mary, Tony, and Georgie, and 1 
grandchild, Rory Cedric Hoover.

Private family inurnment services will take place in the Guthrie Family Plot in Woodston, KS.

Services in care of Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine Street, Hays, KS 67601.
