Joseph 'Joe' Ray Schamberger

Joseph "Joe" Ray Schamberger, 60, died March 3, 2022, in Wichita, Kansas.

Joseph was born December 31, 1961, in Wakeeney, Kansas, to Paul and Kathleen (Lacerte) Schamberger.

He attended Trego Community High school. Joseph continued his education at Fort Hays University and earned his degree in Agricultural Business. Following graduation, he then farmed for many years. Joseph moved to Wichita where he became a Master Electrician.

Survivors include father, Paul Schamberger; his three daughters, Taylor (Brandon) Wilken, Brooke (Jonathan) Just, Smantha (Jessie) Terronez; four brothers, Richard (Dana) Schamberger, Robert (Pam) Schamberger, Phillip (Sarah) Schamberger, and Kevin (Patricia) Schamberger; five sisters, Chris (Bruce) Wilson, Mary (Bruce) Engelman, Elaine (Roy) Orluk, Paula Petersen, and Loretta (Bob) Scalcione; grandchildren; special friend/brother, Richard (Shannon Thomas) Chandler.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and brothers, Matthew and Benedict Schamberger.

Viewing available Thursday March 17th from 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary in Haysville, Kansas.

Services will be held at Prairie Trail Cowboy Church in Haysville, Kansas on Friday March 18th at 11am. Burial will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church Cemetery in Collyer, Kansas on Saturday March 19th at 11:30am.
