Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine Hays, Kansas 67601. Memorial visitation will be Saturday 9 AM until service time.
Inurnment with Military Honors will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ellis.
Phyllis Jean Schuster, age 95, of Hays, KS passed away May 10, 2020 at Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell. She was born October 30, 1924 in Garrison, KS to Jesse and Helen (McCann) Turley. She married William Schuster on September 13, 1947 in Ellis, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Phyllis was a United States Navy veteran. She was a member of the Hays Women’s Bowling Association for many years, as well as the Great Bend VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sister, Donna Kay Dick of Russell, KS, sister in law Margaret Turley, Independence, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Wayne Turley and Francis Turley.
Funeral services will be held at a later date and announced by Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine Hays, Kansas 67601.
Contributions made payable to Ride for Hope 2021 Cancer Run are suggested in lieu of flowers and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
