The TMP-Marian girls golf team brought home a second-place finish, and Hays High was third at the Dodge City Invitational Thursday at Mariah Hills Golf Course in Dodge City.

The Monarchs combined to shoot a team score of 382, 62 shots behind runaway first-place Garden City. Hays High finished third with a 387, five shots back of TMP.

TMP was led by Brynn Schoepf’s third-place finish. She turned in a 2-over-par 75.

Kinley Pfannenstiel finished sixth with a 13-over 86 and was the highest finisher for the Indians. Hays’ Giana Schumacher finished tied for ninth with a 24-over 97. Her teammate, Jacy McMurtie, was one shot back and finished 11th with a 98. Brooklyn Koerner was tied for 12th at 26-over, and Haley Robben finished tied for 19th at 32-over.

TMP’s Emma Wasinger finished tied for 12th at 26-over, Hannah Flax was 16th at 29-over, and Paige Koenigsman finished tied for 21st at 33-over.
