Ronald D. “Ron” McGuire, 54, passed away on March 2, 2022, at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington, Kansas. He was born on January 9, 1968, at Larned, Kansas, to William & Mary Anne (Augustine) McGuire. On December 12, 2012, Ron married Sarah Howe in Great Bend, Kansas.
Ron spent over a decade in California but was otherwise a long-time area resident. He enjoyed fishing, his collections including knick-knacks and wolf memorabilia, cooking, and his beloved Pomeranians and Chihuahua.
Ron is survived by his wife of the home; a sister, Connie (Jose) Montelongo of Hoisington, Kansas; a brother, John McGuire of Hoisington, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, William, Jr. and Michael McGuire.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
