⚽ Tiger men slip a spot in national rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Fort Hays State men's soccer team dropped one spot in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll posted on Tuesday (Oct. 11), now at No. 16. The Tigers have been among the Top 25 in five of the six regular season polls as well as the preseason poll.

The Tigers fell to Newman 1-0 in their only match last week. FHSU is 7-3-3 overall this season, but has wins over No. 3 ranked CSU-Pueblo and No. 25 Southern Nazarene and a win over Northeastern State when it was No. 16 in the nation. They have played four matches this season against teams currently in the Top 25.

Fort Hays State and No. 25 Southern Nazarene represent the GAC/MIAA in the poll, while Northeastern State slid from No. 22 to the receiving votes section of the poll.
