Charlotte Pauline Ochs, 101, McCracken, Kansas, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Grisell Memorial Hospital LTCU, Ransom, Kansas.

Charlotte was born November 8, 1922, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Ellis and Laura (Winters) Murphy . &nbsp;She was a resident of McCracken, Kansas, since 2007 moving from Colorado. &nbsp;She attended Deer Trail schools in Deer Trail, Colorado. &nbsp;She was a school cook before her retirement.

She attended the McCracken Methodist Church, McCracken, Kansas.

On February 8, 1941, she married Philip Bernard Ochs at Littleton, Colorado . &nbsp;He preceded her in death November 13, 1964.

Survivors include: &nbsp;one son, Philip Ochs, Salina, Kansas; one daughter, Diana McNair, McCracken, Kansas; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandchild; one great grandchild;&nbsp; two daughters, Cleora Batrez, and Carol Ochs; and two sisters, Ruth, and Maxine.

Per Charlotte’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.

Memorials are suggested to Grisell Memorial Hospital LTCU, Ransom, Kansas.
