Paul R. Bargman, 88, passed away, Friday, March 18, 2022, at Smith Center Health and Rehab, Smith Center, KS.
Paul was born May 30, 1933, in Gaylord, KS, the son of Rudolph and
Gertrude Ola (Motter) Bargman. On May 10, 1958, he married Carolyn Jean
Hill at the Harlan Church, Harlan, KS. Paul was also a United States
Army veteran serving two years from 1952-1953.
He was
preceded in death by his parents, wife Carolyn on February 29, 2020, two
brothers, Frederick and Vernon Bargman and a sister, Helen Hillman.
Paul is survived by five daughters, Terri (Richard) Leone of Concord,
NC, Paula (Ronald) Hayes, Darla Pfortmiller all of Smith Center, KS,
Darcy (Mel) Shaffer of Agra, Teana Lowden of Smith Center, KS; two sons,
Paul Bargman Jr. and Dane Bargman both of Smith Center, KS; twelve
grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A
celebration of Paul's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 25,
2022, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center,
with Pastor Lance McDowell officiating. Visitation will be held on
Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family
present to greet friends and family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and
Friday, March 25, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral
chapel. Burial will take place in Gaylord Cemetery, Gaylord, KS.
Memorials may be given to Paul R. Bargman Memorial Fund and can be sent
in care of the funeral chapel.
