Norma J. Blake, 86, passed away April 9, 2021 at The University of Kansas Health Systems, Pawnee Valley Campus, Larned.

She was born December 8, 1934 in Larned; the daughter of Harold and Lois Balman Arnold.  A lifetime area resident; she was a farm wife.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rozel, the American Baptist Women, enjoyed helping her daughter Debra with preschool, vacation bible school and being a Sunday school teacher.

On July 21, 1953 she married G. Leonard Blake in Rozel.  He survives.

Other survivors include; three sons, Dennis (Nancy) Blake, Hazelton, Randal (Julia) Blake, Larned, Jerel (Robert) Blake, Lenexa; a daughter, Debra (Ritch) Foos, Rozel; eleven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Knudson and Wilma Smith.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Grandson Pastor Travis Blake presiding.  Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary with family present from 6-8 p.m.  Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
