Fort Hays State signee Telexa Weeter has been named Miss Kansas Basketball by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.
The Goodland senior helped lead the Cowgirls to back-to-back 3A state titles, going 26-0 this past season.
Weeter was named the Sports in Kansas 3A Player of the Year and to the Kansas State High School Activities Association Top-15. She was a 4-time All-Great West Activities Conference selection as well as the league's MVP.
Weeter is Goodland High School's all-time leading scorer with 1,638 career points and ranks in the top 10 in career rebounds (550) and steals (221) in 97 career games.
Blue Valley Northwest's Grant Stubblefield was named the KBCA's Mr. Kansas Basketball.
Both will be playing in the KBCA All-Star Game on June 24th at Mabee Arena on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.
