The KDHE reported Wednesday 55 percent of eligible Ellis County residents are fully vaccinated, noting the vaccination rate for the eligible Kansas population (12 and older) is approximately 65 percent.

Since reporting began, there have been 5,060 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 77 coronavirus-related deaths.
