THOMAS COUNTY—A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 10a.m. Tuesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited driven by Teresa Knowles, 70, Colby, was southbound on County Road 15 County Road K.
The pickup struck a westbound 1996 Kenworth semi driven by Nestor Manuel Pacheo Marquez, 39, Wray, Colorado. After impact the semi jackknifed.
EMS transported Knowles to Citizen's Medical Center. Marquez was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
