Clifton Ray Morgan

Clifton Ray Morgan passed into the heavenly realms on the day of our Lord on December 28, 2022, at the age of 77.

Clifton was born January 16, 1945, to Clifton L. and Susanna (Knowles) Morgan.

Ray was united in marriage to Katherine E. Emmanuel on November 26, 1966, at the Methodist Church in Phillipsburg. They moved to Westminster, Colorado, where he worked for Coors, he then served in the Navy from 1969-1977 in which he was stationed in many ports across the East Coast.  After his service in the Navy, he moved back to the family farm in Kansas where he worked for Tamko in Phillipsburg Ks.  Ray decided after working at Tamko that he would go back to college and get his Bachelor's Degree.  In 1989 Ray and Family moved to Hays, Ks where he managed a video arcade, in which he became the district manager.   Later in his life, he would become a teacher at Northwest Kansas Technical College in which he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister Carol Sue; and his wife Katherine.

Clifton Ray is survived his four children Stacey Walczak (Michael), Richard (Sharla), Anthony (Karen), and Andrew (Tricia). He is also survived by six grandchildren and a brother Richard Morgan and wife Joyce of Phillipsburg.

Ray will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pat Allen officiating. Inurnment will follow in West Cedar Cemetery, Phillips County, KS.

Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
