SHERMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Tuesday in Sherman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Freightliner driven by Raj&nbsp;Bharati, 47, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, was westbound on Interstate 70 six miles west of the westbound rest area in the driving lane.

A large gust of wind caused the rear of the trailer to swing into the passing lane. The truck and trailer then flipped on its driver side. The truck and trailer came to rest blocking all westbound lanes.

EMS transported Raj&nbsp;Bharati to the hospital in Goodland. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
