Cooper-Clark Foundation provides grant to Smoky Hills PBS

BUNKER HILL – The Cooper-Clark Foundation has awarded Smoky Hills PBS with a grant for $2,100.

The grant will support the literacy initiative program of Smoky Hills PBS.  The Smoky Hills PBS literacy leadership program provides the following:

·      Children’s Programming on Smoky Hills PBS

·      Book distribution program (First Book Club) that will provide books to children in public preschool and head start programs in the following counties: Morton, Seward, Grant, and Haskell

“Smoky Hills PBS wants to say thank you to the Cooper-Clark Foundation for their recent support," said Haley Gagnon, Special Events Coordinator of Smoky Hills PBS, "Through this partnership, we are able to encourage a love of learning by providing educational programs and resources for FREE to hundreds of children across multiple counties."

The Cooper-Clark Foundation was established in 1983 in Liberal, Kan.

Smoky Hills PBS serves 71 counties in central and western Kansas.
