In observance of Older American’s Month, NorthWest Kansas Area Agency on Aging (NWKAAA) will be hosting their annual “Information Day” for older Kansans and caregivers on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
This event will be held at Big Creek Crossing, 2918 Vine Street, Hays, KS from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with Bingo from 2:15 - 3:00 p.m.
The day will include speakers, hands-on activities, vendor booths, door prizes and lots of giveaways.
Enjoy complimentary coffee, donuts, lunch (hot dogs & chips), bottled water, and snacks while supplies last.
Scheduled vendors and presenters include: NWKAAA, Kansas Department for Aging & Disability Services (KDADS) Dementia Program Manager along with A Different Mindset Association (a dementia support group), Assistive Technology for Kansans, Audio-Reader Network, Central KS Library System, Colby Health & Rehab, Eagle Med/AirMedCare Network, First Call for Help, First Care Clinic, Hays Lions Club (bring old eyeglasses for donation), Hays Public Library, Hays Senior Center, High Plains Mental Health Center, KS Dept for Aging & Disability Services (Medicare), KS Guardianship Program, KS Long-Term Care Ombudsman, K-State Extension - Cottonwood, LINK (Living Independently in Northwest Kansas), Office of the Attorney General (scams/fraud), OPTIONS Domestic & Sexual Violence Services, Senior Companion/Foster Grandparent Programs, Sunflower Health Plan, USDA Rural Development and more!
