Carol Ann Stamm, age 69, of Goodland passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024. Carol was born June 18, 1954 to Gail and Celia (Gunnary) Hopkins in South Carolina. She grew up and went to school in San Jose, California. She received her nursing degree in Oregon and later attended Friends University in Wichita, Kansas for her elementary teachers degree.
She moved to Goodland in 2021 from Oberlin. She taught school in many school districts in Kansas and worked at Rescare in Goodland. Carol enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, playing the violin and spending time with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her children, Melody Baker of Wellington, KS, Autumn Gusdal of Post Falls, ID, Joshua Holt of Wichita, KS; stepchildren, Rose Holt, Kelly Holt and Austin Holt; sisters Sharon and Rebecca Hopkins and brother Curt Hopkins; 5 grandchildren; and life partner Charles Engel of Goodland. She is preceded in death by her parents.
